The importance of royal jelly is revealed each day to beekeepers with the growth of eggs in Queens, worker bees and drones. All eggs that the queen gives birth (mother) feed the first three days with royal jelly. On the fourth day, diet changes for some eggs and is made with honey and pollen. This has the result of making those eggs becoming the worker bees and drones, while the eggs that will continue to feed on the jelly will become Queens. The queen hatches in 16 days and lives up to 4 years. It is a perfect female with a very developed reproductive system. Royal jelly is not collected from bees, but is produced from the young worker bees When the Queen is deducted from the hive; the swarm understands its absence and tries to build Queencells by putting Royal jelly to the cells that have eggs which are at most 3 days old. Afterwards, the beekeeper collects the Royal jelly on the 3rd day since the swarm began breeding eggs because literally sail into it and not after because the larves are consuming very quickly the jelly in the next few days.
