Royal jelly is a creamy white substance, strongly acidic, with a peculiar odor and a slightly bitter taste, highly nutritious, which is secreted by ypofaryngikous glands of young worker bees.
The importance of royal jelly is revealed each day to beekeepers with the growth of eggs in Queens, worker bees and drones. All eggs that the queen gives birth (mother) feed the first three days with royal jelly. On the fourth day, diet changes for some eggs and is made with honey and pollen. This has the result of making those eggs becoming the worker bees and drones, while the eggs that will continue to feed on the jelly will become Queens. This finding alone shows us the most convincing manner that the Royal jelly of young bees is the most natural energizing food, nature at its best!
The queen hatches in 16 days and lives up to 4 years. It is a perfect female with a very developed reproductive system. Its size and weight is twice that of the bees and generates up to 1,200 eggs a day. This means that one day, the weight of the eggs will exceed by twice its own weight. This is the alpha and omega of the hive and all because the egg from which the Queen came was fed with jelly.
The worker bee in contrast, hatches in 21 days, lives approximately 2-3 months, cannot mate with drones and lays only fertilized eggs.
Royal jelly is not collected from bees, but is produced from the young worker bees When the Queen is deducted from the hive; the swarm understands its absence and tries to build Queencells by putting Royal jelly to the cells that have eggs which are at most 3 days old. Young bees secrete the jelly from the pharyngeal glands and the cells are then filled with stock in order to be sure that the new queen which will hatch will be well fed. Afterwards, the beekeeper collects the Royal jelly on the 3rd day since the swarm began breeding eggs because literally sail into it and not after because the larves are consuming very quickly the jelly in the next few days.
It is a laborious and time consuming process for both the bees and the beekeeper, but the result is what counts.
Royal jelly as it has been repeatedly demonstrated by scientific experiments exerts favorable effects on the overall structure of the organization:
Proven dynamics effect in Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. Extremely beneficial for pregnant women and mothers who breastfeed their babies.
Has no side effects (contains the components that been shown to be safe even during long term use or overdose)
NOT A DRUG BUT SOMETHING BETTER – THE SMART FOOD
NO PRESERVATIVE AND COLOURS.
Royal jelly is kept by day collected in small bottles in the refrigerator and can maintain the beneficial properties of up to six months.
For adults over 18 years of 1-2 grams per day
For children under the age of 12 1/2 -1 gram daily
For athletes and students 2 grams daily
In the morning we put a drop under the tongue to be absorbed better by the body repeating for twenty days, ten days we abstain and after we are resuming again for twenty days and abstain ten. We continue this program until we feel our body full of energy!
